Where does Natural Health Care fit into my life, what is it, and how does it benefit my family?
We are all unique individuals, and many factors contribute to where we are and what we battle with physically, mentally and emotionally. All these things add up to the unique and variable expression of disease in our bodies and minds and/or give rise to an imbalance in our overall state of health and well-being.
Each concern is comprised of mental, physical and emotional triggers that create a picture for us as practitioners (and even you personally) to work with, and we can use this knowledge to start to gain control over your day-to-day decisions related to your health and wellbeing and even the intensity of the expression of the disease or the problem itself.
The feedback from our assessments puts you in the know so that you can make educated decisions on how to move forward with the options that are now open to you for either yourself, your children or your whole family.
Our natural health program is custom-designed to support you with your journey to finding the easiest and simplest solution for achieving a balanced physical, emotional and mental state, whether you are a child, a teenager, an adult (parent or not) and/or a pensioner.
What is a natural health practitioner?
Natural medicine uses non-invasive methods for the assessment of bodily, emotional and mental dysfunction and the use of natural therapeutics for their correction. There is a great deal of commonality in what Natural Health Practitioners and Medical Doctors do. However, each person seeking assistance should realise that I am a Natural Health Practitioner, not a Medical Doctor.
To avoid confusion or misunderstanding, please note the following:
- Our centre works within the naturopathic scope of practice and is not the facility of a Medical Doctor and employs some methods which are not orthodox medical practice, such as ethnomedicine and ethnopsychology and works on the treatment of the whole person, including their mental and emotional state;
- The treatment at our centre and/or referral to other health care professionals is based upon the assessment of conditions revealed through personal history and interview, assessment and/or tests;
- Natural health care may not be covered under your medical aid, and therefore, you are responsible for any fees incurred while under treatment at the centre;
- We are authorised to issue sick notes in cases where the individual legitimately requires recovery time.
